Introduction
Penang marks the third office for Maersk Line in Malaysia. Designed for 72 workstations with room for expansion to 80 workstations, we were able to once again extend the ‘Maersk’ language of openness and flexibility in office planning. Row seating and desking of 1600 x 800 glass tables with adjustable height supports, linear strip up-lighting and a white interior are the hallmarks of this project. Special attention was made on making “glass rooms” that will allow good visibility from the reception to the interior and to the views of the sea beyond.
