Introduction
Design competition scheme by Hin Tan whilst working for Nicholas Grimshaw in London, this concept encompassed a new interpretation of Malaysian Vernacular buildings that are responsive to climate and culture. In the extreme climate, overhangs and shading devices enrich the architecture of the terminal building. The cross section holds the key to cooling the building and admitting daylight into the interior.
